Registration is required for online voting. Voting is FREE.
Online entries will be limited to one entry per registered user per day. Paper ballots are unlimited; however, photocopies of the printed ballot will not be accepted.
Deadline to vote is Midnight on March 28, 2013.
The winner for each category will be the one business with the highest number of votes from valid online ballots counted. In the event of a tie, the winner of the category will be chosen at random. If there is any evidence of tampering with registration or any electronic manipulation on contest outcome, a winner may be chosen at random by the Elkin Tribune contest officials.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed.
Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Employees of The Elkin Tribune, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
The Elkin Tribune reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on registrants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

All results posted are unofficial until the winners are announced after March 28, 2012 in The Elkin Tribune printed edition.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
You must be 18 years of age or older to vote. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
